That's it, Heidi. The salts to prevent fatigue and nausea and the magnesium is to prevent cramping after.
Very interesting! Thank you for sharing. I've only taken magnesium orally, and it sometimes causes some serious digestive issues. Did you notice a stomach ache afterward?
Oh that's too bad. Yes I've heard of that as a side effect but didn't experience. I would still try it if you are experiencing debilitating headaches as at least you'll know if it works if that is a worthwhile side effect.
I did this with herbs such as thyme and sage, but also with B6, magnesium, zinc, vitex, and a few other things.
I use Wholetones as well. It is lovely to go to sleep with. It does seem to calm my digestion- which is my achilles heel.
I haven't tried magnesium citrate, but I take mineral cell salts before, during and after my Bikram yoga classes to avoid fatigue and nausea (and it works great!).
I have been using the calm patches daily for a few months and have found that the consistency helps keep me feeling more balanced. I give them to friends and my kids, especially around exams.
I've been using Bragg's ACV for years and started taking it for its alkaline benefits (I have a history of cancer in my family). I feel it's made me healthier; I rarely get sick even when friends around me are battling colds, the flu, and infections. I mix it with an amazing greens powder in a large glass of water, after taking my vitamins. Part of my daily morning ritual!
Thank you Carol for sharing about the Biomat. I recently purchased one. My family loves it and in fact, we nudge each other off the mat to get a turn. The benefit for me is RELAXATION! I generally meditate on the mat and it facilitates a deeper calm, peace and tranquility. My husband recently had knee surgery and this morning after his work out, he said, I can't believe my knee feels so great. Zero pain. I am sure his time on the biomat has helped him to fully heal.
