Ear Ache Relief
How It Works
If you are feeling pain in your ear (perhaps related to a cold/flu or ear infection), try this out. Rub Melaleuca essential oil behind your ear, all along the line where your ear meets your head and especially in that little depression right behind your earlobe. Then rub Lavender essential oil over the same area. Never inside the ear, just behind it. Do this every hour or so until your ear is feeling normal again. (The body metabolizes essential oils in about 30 minutes, so using a small amount frequently is more effective than using a lot just once or twice).

This has worked multiple times for my family. Most recently, my daughter was feeling like she had an ear infection. We made an appointment with the doctor, but couldn't be seen for several hours. I applied the oils behind her ear repeatedly during that time and by the time the doctor saw her, the ear was feeling better and there was no infection. (She had a slightly swollen gland though, so the doctor said that something had been trying to happen, but that what I had been doing with the oils had been working on fighting it and to just keep doing what I had been doing!)
