How It Works

Slippery Elm is simple to take, all you have to do is put a few teaspoons into hot water and let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes. It will become a little congealed but hardly tastes like anything, easy to drink and it’s best to take it in powder form rather than capsules so that it can deposit nutrients as it moves through the different mucosal linings.

Story

Slippery Elm is an amazing healing powder! I use it for many reasons, my sons digestion and stomach issues because it heals mucosal lining in the gut (leaky gut), my husbands coughing because it heals mucosal lining in the lungs, and my stuffy sinus’s because it heals mucosal lining in the sinus cavity. There’s a lot more slippery elm can do and I am constantly impressed with it. Give it a Google and give it a try and see if it is right for you.

I tried Slippery Elm many years ago when I used to get sore throats quite often, but after they were healed, I forgot all about Slippery Elm. Then, a couple of years ago when I was listening to a wonderful healing summit I heard one of the practitioners mention Slippery Elm and it resonated as something I needed for my healing. I have hypothyroid and a lot of digestion issues as well as brain fog and nasal and brain congestion. I feel that slippery Elm is a wonderful part of my healing protocol and journey and I am happy to share it.
