How It Works

I wear blue blocker glasses after it gets dark in the evening to block any blue light that comes from indoor lighting, computers, TV, devices. Blue light suppresses melatonin which is the important hormone that helps you fall asleep. You want to suppress melatonin in the day time (so go outside in natural sunlight which exposes you to the full spectrum of light), but once the sun goes down, you want your melatonin to kick in on time to help you sleep. So wear blue blockers at night! Melatonin is important for a whole host of other health reasons, so suppressing it at night is no good!
