(Healthily) obsessed with feeling, getting, and being better.

Struggling to find answers? We’ve been there. As a community of healers, wellness junkies, and will-try-anything-to-feel-good guinea pigs, we share what works because we know real wellbeing is about experience, not just expertise.

A Note From Our Founder

NutmegAspirin Founder

Fourteen years ago, my family and I were sick with a myriad of symptoms: migraines, brain fog, anxiety, strep throat, extreme fatigue, sensory and neurological issues.

We saw more than 40 doctors over the course of two years, and no one could tell us what was wrong with us. Even when we finally discovered the cause – toxic mold in our home – our doctors still had no answers or cures.

Trapped in the gray area of medicine and determined to get better, we turned toward alternative treatments. For years, we were human guinea pigs, willing to try anything and open to whatever practitioner or healer crossed our paths.

Some of the treatments and remedies we tried worked— and some didn’t. But in the end, my family and I recovered. When I told our doctors, they seemed happy and surprised that we had healed, but they were not curious to know how. Our story and results, like countless others, were simply dismissed as anecdotal.

Through the blogging world, I connected with many people like us – people continuously searching, learning, and discovering ways to feel, get, and be better. We all had found different roads to recovery that could help others. But our experiences and learnings were scattered across different corners of the web. I thought: Why not aggregate what works in one space?

And so, Nutmeg Aspirin was born – a platform where anyone can share their healing stories, tips, and triumphs. Our motto is “Share What Works!” because we know there is not a one-size-fits-all prescription: it may be nutmeg or aspirin, diet or meditation, deep breaths or vitamin drips. Some call it alternative — we call it whatever works.

All of our content comes from our amazing community members. We welcome your questions and tips — your personal experiences and expertise. Together, let’s help ourselves and others to feel, get, and be better. Join us and #sharewhatworks
