How It Works

I was first introduced to Young Living's Thieves oil when I had a cold. A friend gave me a bit of Thieves Oil in a hot tea and within minutes my sinuses began to clear and I began to feel better. This is a great "go to" essential oil blend that you can make yourself and it is terrific for any kind of cold, flu, infection that has you down.

Use only high quality, therapeutic grade essential oils. You can add to tea/hot drink or rub on the bottom of feet or chest (if chest congestion).

What's the blend? Just mix equal parts of each oil?

Just a note of precaution, you should be careful putting essential oils into tea as it can cause mouth or throat irritation! Instead of drinking the oil, the best way to fight an infection or cold is to bathe in the oil. Always add the oils into the bath with a carrier oil to avoid skin irritation.

This is such a great tip. Do you think it is important to make your own using all the oils listed or can we just use the Young Living Thieves blend or Doterra On Guard?
