How It Works

Put a pinch of baking soda in your coffee. That's it! Can't get any easier!

Baking soda neutralizes the acidity of the coffee, but please remember to buy organic coffee. Coffee is a crop that is heavily sprayed with pesticides. If you are going to be conscious enough to add baking soda to make coffee healthier, then make buying organic coffee a priority as well.

Story

Much is written about the importance of an alkaline body especially when it comes to cancer. It is well accepted that cancer can not survive in an alkaline environment. That is why many people avoid sugar and processed foods when healing from cancer because sugar is very acidic. But in addition to cancer, when the body’s pH balance is too acidic, an individual is also at an elevated risk of suffering from heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, and other diseases.

I first learned of this trick when this video popped up on my Facebook feed. I found it compelling and have been adding baking soda to my morning cup of coffee ever since. I am willing to do anything to help alkalize my body and keep my immune system strong!! And well, this one is just too easy not to do it. The baking soda lives right next to the coffee pot in my home so I never forget to add that pinch:-)
