How It Works
It is hard to explain how it works, but it does. It is a combination of far infrared heat and amethyst crystals. I have had my Bio mat now for 6 months, first loaning it to my sister while she began her healing journey. So, I have actually only been using it myself daily for the past 4 weeks, Me being me, I like to report on my findings and share with my closest friends. All friends who have tried my mat have fallen asleep on it within a few minutes. It is soothing to the mind and the body while it works it's magic-- naturally detoxing and helping the lymph system (reason I purchased for myself and to help an enlarged prostate for Trevor, my husband). One friend only tried it once and went on to purchase her own as she was impressed with it's comforting feelings for her niggling back ache.
And what really blew me away-- I had not exercised for an extended period of time other than what I did running around with my grandchildren and climbing tree's, etc. but when I resumed my exercise classes, I did not experience the usual deep aching after a hard workout. I know this was thanks to my biomat because after each session I would lie on the mat and fall asleep for 50 minutes. Yesterday I held a plank for 2 minutes with ease. So, the only difference I can think of is that the bio mat is strengthening my muscles too as I would normally find a 2 minute plank difficult.
