Easing Anxiety with CBD

How It Works

There are times when anxiety creeps up on me. It doesn't care what I'm doing, where I'm at, or who's around. In the past, when medication only seemed to put me to sleep, I learned to accept I would just have to hang on tight and ride it out. It's an awful feeling.

Years later, I was informed of the calming benefits of CBD. Derived from hemp, it offered me a natural way to ease my anxiety attacks. Without turning this into a chemistry lesson, I'll share the condensed version. CBD appears to act in a similar manner as SSRI's; enhancing mood and providing relief to those with anxiety and depression. Unlike may prescription drugs, CBD is non-intoxicating and does not present the side effects or addiction that anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications have been known to do.

While there are many forms of CBD, I've come to use my CBD Additive the most. It's a small bottle I can easily toss in my bag and keep with me wherever I go. What I like best is the versatility it offers. I can use a few drops on or under my tongue, like a tincture, I can use it as a vape oil, or I can add it to a flavored vape juice. No matter which way I choose, it still provides a calming effect and helps me through my anxiety.
