We asked our instagram followers to share tips on staying asleep throughout the night. Here's a roundup of the responses so far: 

 

maryr590: No caffeine after 2:00pm, avoid sugar during dinner, use an eye mask to sleep and live in a quiet place.

 

carolyn_rowan: Sleep teas and double the bag and rotate brands as they all have slightly different formulas.๐Ÿ˜‰

 

luisabmarbella: Magnesium, and meditate before bedtime. Also NO phones or PC’s at LEAST two hours before bedtime. These devices ACTIVATE our brain!!

writehite: Warm to hot Epsom/Dead Sea salt bath. Cut sugar, alcohol and caffeine in the hours before bed. Make the bedroom for sleeping only...no TV. Ditch the tech. Some of these suck when you first start, and admittedly are difficult to keep up, but they are so worth it for the rest.

iamamonster: Yeah I drop the screen time an hour before bed. Two is probably better...

 

wellawarebylinda: 3 mg of melatonin every night. It’s a natural hormone made in our bodies that helps support our sleep cycles. Sometimes our bodies don’t produce enough so you can safely take 3 mg to help regulate sleep. ๐Ÿ˜Š
