How It Works

CBD has been a great source of pain relief for me and many of the people around me. Being able to share information and experiences has helped others and I hope it may help some of you as well.

CBD or Cannabidiol, is just one of over 100 chemical compounds that can be found in the cannabis plant. CBD has become known for its remarkable anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving benefits and has been widely used for years to treat a multitude of conditions. Not only does CBD derived from hemp offer a natural alternative to medication and the risk of dependency, it has also been noted there are no adverse side effects either.

By reducing inflammation, pain linked to various health conditions have become more manageable. You'll find studies and testimonies ranging from athletes to scoliosis patients. CBD has helped alleviate pain in Multiple Sclerosis patients by reducing the painful muscle spasms they experience. Others find relief from chronic back pain with CBD. Did you know there are more than 50 million Americans suffering from arthritis pain? A once-skeptical friend of ours tried a few forms of CBD for her arthritis after I shared how much it has helped my own battles with pain. The pain that once kept her up at night has now become manageable. CBD infused lotion has replaced her normal hand cream and eases the soreness in her fingers. When she's been on her feet too long, the lotion provides relief to her inflamed knees as well.

CBD has also been a huge help when it comes to migraines and menstrual cramps. Instead of reaching for an over-the-counter medicine, CBD has become my remedy of choice.

How It Works:

Rub lotion or balm into the skin

Take orally as a supplement

Use a tincture under your tongue

Try an edible such as candy or drink infused with CBD

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2015 and to say my world came crashing down would be an understatement. My life had always revolved around my horses and my love for competing in showjumping so the future didn’t look bright. My diagnosis took over a year from when I first started having issues. When I was competing, my vision would blur, my muscles would go weak and I would fall off the side of the horse for no reason as soon as my core temperature raised.
