How It Works

Once a week, just before bed, put about 1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil into your hair. Massage through your hair to warm up the oil to spread through hair evenly, and put up into a bun to keep away from face. In the morning, wash thoroughly to make sure no oil remains in hair for the day (it looks so greasy if you leave it in). Hair feels refreshed and hydrated, and you end up smelling like coconut for a few days even with washing - added bonus!

Story

After I started a new job, I had been really stressed and working long hours. As a result, I probably wasn’t eating very well either. My hairdresser actually noticed that my hair felt a lot thinner, and that’s when a friend told me she had tried coconut oil to make her hair feel thicker/hydrated. I tried it and have done it. Every week since my hairdresser noticed my hair got a lot thicker again. I have also tried to reduce stress with other homeopathic methods, but this helped me rest easy about my pre-maturely thinning hair. You can also put the coconut oil all over your body if you have dry patches or rough skin to add some moisture. Be careful though if you have oily skin as it could lead to breakouts!
