How It Works

3 tbsp coconut oil

10 drops lavender essential oil

10 drops tea tree essential oil

  • Microwave-safe measuring cup
  • 1 small silicone ice cube tray
  • Melt oil in the microwave, this will take a few seconds
  • Add essential oils and stir
  • Pour the coconut oil mixture into the ice cube tray mold
  • Place the old in the freezer for about 30 minutes, or until the oil is frozen solid
  • Carefully take each frozen stick out of the mold and break into 3 pieces
  • Store them in the freezer in a ziplock bag until needed
  • When ready to use, hold it with a Kleenex or some toilet paper for it will start to melt as soon as you touch it

Story

I am an ultramarathoner and spend many hours in my sweaty running clothes. Yeast overgrowth is not fun, as any woman can attest to. When I came across this recipe, I was so excited to share it with all my friends and family. Antibiotics take a long time to work and destroy your good gut bacteria, suppositories start working right away, they are absorbed into the body quickly for fast results and cost very little to make.

This sounds like a great and simple way to treat an inconvenient infection. Thank you for sharing. It took me a few readings to understand how to make it and apply it and that you need sticks to make individual suppositories?
