How It Works

Apply a generous amount of arnica gel to muscles that feel tight and sore. I especially love using arnica on my upper back/shoulders to relieve tension.

Story

I once was visiting friends in Boston and somehow slept in a way that made my neck go entirely stiff. I couldn't even turn my head; it was awful! One of my friends worked in a local health-food store and suggested I use arnica gel to help the stiffness. Within hours, I experienced improvement in my range of motion in my neck and by the next day, I felt completely better!

I recently used arnica for a bruise and it worked great. The bruise was less painful and went away faster. I'll have to try it on a sore muscle.

I haven't tried this for stiff muscles but since I was a kid I've used arnica (both the gel and the oral pellets) for injuries that might lead to swelling or bruising – like a banged knee, jammed toe, bumped head, etc.
